On your first visit, you will be seen by your doctor for an initial examination. Your exam consists of discussing your current problem or complaint, certain physical tests to determine where your pain is located and generates from. You will be given range of motion tests, etc.
We schedule your first visit for approximately 45 to 60 min. It can be reduced if the paperwork is already completed.
You may potentially have x-rays taken if the dr determines it is necessary, unless you bring recent x-rays with you, or we can request them from your other doctors.
You may or may not have an adjustment and/or therapies, depending on what the dr. determines during his exam.
During your examination, if you have insurance, it will be verified to determine what your chiropractic benefits are and what your financial responsibility will be upon check out.
At check-out, you will be rescheduled for a follow-up Report of Findings visit, which will be the next day if your schedule allows.
At the Report of Findings visit, the dr. will review your x-rays and/or his exam findings and will discuss a treatment plan that includes how many visits you will need.
You will also have a brief meeting with the office manager to discuss your financial plan, so there are no surprises.
